Our Mission
Connecting farming communities with people that care

At Field & Flower, our mission goes beyond delivering great meat—it's about connecting farming communities to people that care. We want to bridge the gap between our hardworking independent farmers and artisan suppliers and customers who truly value quality, ethical welfare and knowing where their food comes from. In a fast-paced world that often overlooks care and craftsmanship, we stand for something different: ensuring that traditional, slow-grown, free-range farming continues to thrive in Britain.
By delivering the very best meat straight from the farm gate to your door, we’re not just providing exceptional food—we’re preserving age-old farming traditions, investing in grassroots communities, and upholding a gold standard in animal welfare. Together, we’re bringing back quality, integrity, and transparency to the food chain, and securing a future for proper free-range farming in the UK.

Supporting British independent farmers and suppliers

Our Values

We’re proud to support Britain’s family-run farms and the best independent cheesemakers, fishmongers, charcutiers, piemakers, bakers and beekeepers in the business. They’re the backbone of our food system, and it is their commitment to welfare, quality and traditional farming methods that brings you the best meat and artisanal cuts you can buy.

Exceptional standards in animal welfare

Our Values

For us, free-range is the bare minimum. We work to our own set of standards that go above and beyond industry guidelines, prioritising animal welfare from birth to husbandry, all the way through to slaughter. We regularly audit and visit farms we work with, ensuring our standards are met, and your food is sourced with care.

Transparency and integrity

Our Values

The only way to build a more transparent, sustainable food chain is by educating and being transparent with one another. We won’t ever shy away from telling you the big stuff — whether that means demystifying complicated farming jargon or telling you why you should buy fewer sirloins or whole chickens (which we have!) to support our independent farmers.

Tackling food inequality one meal at a time

Giving back to the community is at the core of what we do. That’s why we’re proud to partner with FareShare South West, a charity dedicated to tackling food inequality and supporting families and individuals in need.
