Skilfully hand-cured by Brown & Forrest in the heart of Somerset, this salmon is without the smokiness often associated with other salmon preparations. Our Gravadlax is seasoned with wild herbs foraged from the Somerset countryside to add a seasonal touch to a classic. We follow the Marine Conservation Society’s guidelines on salmon sustainability, which ask that we don’t fish wild salmon to protect precarious wild stocks. Sourced from tidal lochs on the Scottish coast and Isles, swimming against strong currents to yield rich, bright fillets. The farmers keep their stock density low, so the salmon has more room to grow and remain active. Their diet is much like it would be in the wild, consisting mainly of marine protein and oils. This product is only available for delivery on our Easter delivery dates (Wed 27 March, Thu 28 March, Sat 30 March 2024).
