To us, this means sourcing heritage and native breeds, reared in traditional, extensive farming systems from a network of the best independent farmers in England. All of this takes time, and our beef is allowed to grow slower for longer, spending at least two seasons at grass and fed on a natural diet.

I would give this 5+ stars. It cooked like a dream. I separated it from the bone, then reattached for cooking, all made easier by the French trim. There was a great balance between fat and lean. It was expensive, but there was absolutely no waste, what a super treat it made for Christmas Day dinner. Plenty left to pop in freezer and make a fabulously extravagant stew for New Year's Day. I don't hesitate to recommend this, and I will definitely be ordering one again for next year.

The best piece of beef I have ever eaten , we cooked it medium rare it was perfect it had a wonderful full beefy flavour and extremly tender not too much fat ( much to my dissapointment as I love the fat ) but was very much to my son's taste though.
