These chickens are a favourite with my family. The meat is moist and tasty - just as I remember from childhood when chicken was a luxury. I have dropped one star due to the fact that it's a bit hit and miss as to whether there are any giblets inside, which is a disappointment to those of us who love giblet gravy. Neither of the two I ordered included them.

As with all previous F & F meats, excellent. Succulent bird and with all its' bits-a rarity these days and enjoyed by the dog after adding to the gravy.

This is a favourite of my family at any time of the year. The flesh is moist and the taste reminds me of how chicken tasted when I was a child and chicken was an expensive treat. Giblet gravy is a very welcome bonus.

Very tasty unlike non free range chicken from the supermarket which can have a strange texture and/or taste. A superior product.

Having seen some of the previous reviews, the bar was set pretty high as this was the Christmas Dinner bird! Two words ... Absolutely. Delicious. I bought a slightly bigger bird than I thought I needed, so that there would be plenty of leftovers, but it was so darned tasty that most of it was wolfed down on the big day! It was just like the chicken that I remembered as a child - properly 'chickeny' and with a deliciously crispy skin! The leftover carcass etc.. went into the freezer and is now in a stock pot, bubbling away to make a chicken stock.
