The secret to our exceptional pork lies in the meticulous care taken on the farm. Sourced from passionate, independent free-range pig farmers in England, our pigs are slowly reared on a natural, nutrient-rich diet. They are truly free-range, born and raised outdoors in fields all year round, with plenty of mud to lay around in and straw-bedded huts for shelter. This natural lifestyle contributes to pork with superb texture and an incredible depth of flavour, while also supporting a thriving British pork industry.

Over the past few years, free-range pig farming in the UK has been facing some serious challenges with rising feed and energy costs and competition from cheaper, intensively reared pork imported from overseas. Despite these difficulties, a few dedicated farmers continue to believe that high-welfare, proper free-range pig farming has its place in the UK and continue to work hard to uphold the highest standards of animal welfare.
