Our Salt Beef Silverside Joint is from native breed, grass-fed West Country beef. Our butcher has tied and brined the joints for 10 days to impart seasoning from within and give our salt beef its unique flavour. This makes the perfect centrepiece for a boxing day spread of cold meats, chutneys and bubble and sqeak. To prepare your Salt Beef Silverside, rinse under cold water, then add to a fresh pan of water and bring to the boil, simmering in plenty of water with an onion, a tablespoon of peppercorns and a couple of bay leaves.
