Simple Dinners: Venison tacos

You won’t believe how easy these tacos are to prepare with our sous vide Pulled Venison Shoulder. Simply warm up on the hob, add some spices and you’re good to go. Next time you’re entertaining, why not hold a taco night and let everyone spread the pulled shoulder into shells that burst with flavour. We recommend serving with a simple, Mexican corn salad.

Ingredients

Pulled venison:
• 1 pack Field & Flower Sous Vide Pulled Venison Shoulder (350g)
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1 tsp chili powder
• Salt and pepper, to taste

Tacos:
• Small corn or flour tortillas / shells
• 1 sliced avocado
• 30g chopped fresh cilantro
• 1 red onion, diced
• Lime wedges

Instructions

1. Place the pulled venison in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground cumin, chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Heat the venison until warmed through and coated with the spices.

2. Heat the tortillas according to package instructions.

3. Spoon a generous amount of pulled venison onto each tortilla. Top with sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, and a squeeze of lime juice.

4. Serve the pulled venison tacos with lime wedges on the side. These flavourful and easy-to-make tacos are perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
