These spicy chicken legs are a great dish to take to barbecues, picnics and family parties. The spice combination has quite a kick so feel free to adjust the quantity of cayenne pepper and chilli flakes for more sensitive palates. Our cooling blue cheese dip is so easy to make and compliments the heat perfectly.

Ingredients
• Field & Flower chicken legs or drumsticks
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• ½ tsp cayenne pepper
• ½ tsp chilli flakes
• A dash of olive oil
• 150ml crème fraîche or sour cream
• 75g Tuxford & Tebbut Stilton (crumbled)
• Sea salt to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180 °C fan.
2. In a bowl mix together cayenne pepper, chilli flakes, maple syrup, olive oil and salt to taste.
3. Coat chicken legs and leave to marinate for a minimum of 30 mins.
4. Place the chicken into a roasting pan or dish and cook for about 30 mins, or until golden and cooked through.
5. Blend crème fraîche with crumbled stilton to make the blue cheese dip.
6. Serve with a green salad or crunchy crudités.
