Our Turkey
Our award-winning, free-range Bronze turkey is simply the best you can buy. Slow-reared for at least 6 months, our turkeys are free to roam outdoors, exploring the hilly woodlands from 8 weeks old, which ensures top quality flavour. We only source slow-growing, heritage breed Bronze turkeys for superior welfare and flavour from small-scale farms and independent farmers who are deeply passionate about what they do.
We strongly believe that turkey shouldn’t just be for Christmas. That’s why we work with our farmers to produce everyday essentials and carcass balancing cuts that are available all year round. At Christmas time, there is often a demand for easy-carve convenience cuts like crowns and joints, which means that around 14 million tonnes of turkey legs go to waste in the UK each year. To combat this, our Turkey LEG UP initiative returns this year for its 3rd year in partnership with food redistribution charity FareShare South West. For every crown or joint sold this Christmas, we pledge to purchase and donate the remaining turkey legs to vulnerable individuals and families in need. Learn more about our LEG UP campaign.
