Note: This role is a zero-hour, temporary contract from mid November 2025 to early January 2026. We require flexibility and will need cover during weekdays, but also on weekends. Your shifts will be confirmed with you in advance. Please only apply if this suits your commitments.

We are a leading UK food subscription business specialising in grass fed, free-range meat and responsibly caught fish, connecting farming communities to people who care.

We’re looking for a friendly, positive, and hardworking person to join our customer service team during our busiest period of the year. As the first point of contact you will be talking to our loyal customers about their orders and accounts, answering any questions they might have. You will track deliveries ensuring everything arrives safe and sound by communicating with our couriers. We are very proud of the level of customer service we give at Field & Flower and want you to help continue offering best-in-class customer experience during our busy Christmas period.
Job Overview
The job role will include, but is not limited to:
• Giving best-in-class customer service over every communication platform.• Answering customer queries over the phone, email, online chat, or social media (about our service, website, accounts, deliveries, or products)
• Managing issues quickly and effectively to a high standard
• Tracking deliveries & communicating with our couriers.
• Working closely alongside our Operations team to help enhance the customer experience
• Communicating and maintaining a close relationship with third parties (couriers, packaging teams etc).
• Social media and review management
• Helping with the retention of customers who may want to leave the subscription service.
Requirements
• Passionate about food and ethical farming.• Previous experience in a Customer Service role
• Exceptional phone manner and email writing skills.
• Good problem solver and great initiative
• Ideally familiar with online logging platforms e.g. Magento and Salesforce (although in house training will be provided).
• Confident on Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• A concise and methodical approach to time management and personal organisation.
Contract: Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Location: Quarry Way Business Park – Waterlip, Shepton Mallet
