Sadly, the joint I received was not very good. Cooked it, as I have previously cooked numerous breasts of lamb. When I un-rolled the joint after cooking there was a small piece of loose meat which had been placed inside it? The rest of the breast was fat, with no edible meat attached.

Breast of lamb has a reputation for being fatty, chewy and short on meat. This cut was none of these things, being juicy, full of flavour and having plenty of meat. It's a really good meal for two on a chilly night. Cook slowly . . . . .
