Cooked low and slow, this cut of pork shoulder turns into a tender and juicy melt-in-the-mouth feast, made for sharing. All that’s left to do is pull the pork and drizzle on the hickory sauce to impress your guests.
Preheat the oven to Gas mark 4, 180˚C, 160˚C fan.
Open the vacuum package and place in the centre of the oven for 30-35 minutes.
remove from the oven, discard foil tray and any juices.
Take two forks, place one into the meat and pull the meat apart with the other to create a shredded effect.
Pour contents of the sauce sachet over the shredded meat and mix.
Serve with a crunchy homemade slaw, using fresh herbs and yoghurt for a sour contrast to the sweet and smoky, juicy pork. Serve in soft brioche buns for the perfect party food.
