Our free-range ducks are from Elaine and Daryn Williams at Madgett's Farm in Chepstow.
Elaine and Daryn believe in producing nothing but the highest quality ducks. From the day they’re born, they're allowed to grow naturally in beautiful surroundings, enjoying a diet of homegrown cereals that result in a fantastic tasting bird.
The Williams’ raise only traditional Aylesbury cross-breed ducks, which means that we're providing you with a really meaty bird with a lower fat content.
Top field&flower tip: When it comes to the cooking time, weigh the bird first. We recommend putting it in the oven for 20 minutes per 500g at 200C. If you like your duck to have a crispy skin, make sure you dab it dry with some kitchen towel before you cook it. Then prick the skin and rub in some salt - you can't go wrong!

All of our meat arrives fresh, in temperature-controlled, 100% recyclable cool boxes that keep your items chilled for at least 36 hours. We give you complete traceability too. With every box you’ll receive an information card giving you the name of the farm, the breed of the animal, as well as the butcher dates for your order.
